I am German and grew up in the small town Mühlhausen close to Heidelberg, Germany. Besides being a CrossFit Coach I work as a Laboratory Technician. Coaching and working out is my work-life-balance! I’ve never really done any serious sports before CrossFit. I tried many different sports but nothing really hit me. I always got bored after a few weeks. When I first walked in a CrossFit gym, saw those strong humans and what they are capable of, I immediately fell in love. I found my purpose! Since then I’ve never stopped doing CrossFit. I’ve done some CrossFit competitions in Germany (German TD, Battle the Beach, etc.) and the Belgium TD in Brussels. After that I started to focus on gymnastics. My goal is to be able to do all CrossFit gymnastic movements in the best quality. And I want the same for all my athletes.
When and where did you first start CrossFit?
I started CrossFit 2016 at CrossFit Speyer, Germany. Later, I moved to Mannheim and was member of CrossFit Schmelztiegel in Heidelberg from 2017-2021. I also started as a Fundamentals Coach there.
Why do you coach?
I love to help people see what they are capable to do with their bodies. Helping them to learn movements they’ve never thought they were capable of. I want everybody else to have the same great journey I had and am still having with CrossFit!
Got any hobbies?
Besides joining Teutonic classes, I love to work on my gymnastics. I am also a member of a German Weightlifting Club and do team competitions in the German Weightlifting league. If I'm not working out, you’ll probably find me in the kitchen baking some delicious cakes or pastries.
