I was born at Luke AFB(Phoenix AZ), but was raised in Dallas, TX! I’ve been in the CrossFit scene since 2014 after I had my first child, MiaBella. I was going through a pretty tough time as it was my first pregnancy and my husband was deployed for all of it. I had heard of CrossFit when we were stationed at Spangdahlem AB(Germany) and was a bit nervous but took the plunge. My competitive spirit kicked in and the rest is history. CrossFit helped my postpartum depression and gave me strength I didn’t know I had.
I started coaching approximately 3 years ago. It wasn’t something I knew I had a passion for. Then other mothers started to approach me, asking me how I completed workouts during pregnancy. I was able to give them advice on how to move and also on what not to do in order to keep themselves and their babies safe and healthy. Along those same lines, I became passionate in helping other moms find their fire again, and to know it was still possible to do the things you love. I love coaching and I feel I’ve grown so much since starting. What keeps me motivated is knowing there is always more to learn and I’m looking forward to seeing where it takes me.

Why do you coach?
I originally found inspiration in helping pregnant and postpartum women stay active, healthy, and motivated. My love of coaching started there and grows everyday as I watch my athletes continue to succeed!
Got any hobbies?
In my spare time I like to paint and draw. I was originally pursuing an art degree that I haven't quite finished. Well, not yet at least!
