What’s up, ya’ll!  I’m a prairie flower, born and raised in the Sunflower State, Kansas.  I started CrossFit in 2017, falling in love with it from my first class.  I am a lifelong sports nut, but had gotten into a rut, and CrossFit was just what I needed!  Through babies, surgeries, and a brief unfortunate foray into step aerobics, I’ve always loved moving heavy weights, and CrossFit lets me do that, while also throwing in aerobic work and functional movement.  I’ve been coaching since 2019, and it truly is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.  I’ve also been a yoga instructor since 2018, and feel the two are the perfect match.  The art and science of movement is fascinating to me, and I hope I never stop learning.  Iit is truly my honor to help other athletes during their journey to a future of health and wellness.


When and where did you first start CrossFit?
My journey started at CrossFit Unconquered in Leavenworth, KS, and continued at CrossFit Oddity in Madison, AL.
Why do you coach?
I love to work with athletes that are new to weightlifting. To find those cues that help them to become more than what they ever thought they could be, do more than they ever thought they could do. When the lightbulb goes on, and they hit that lift just right, I can see the satisfaction and confidence in themselves sky rocket! It is a privilege to be a small part of that process.

I enjoy writing, photography and baking, not necessarily in that order.
